Production Release 10/15/26

Resilient Checker for SMS Services

What's new

SMS services now support automated failover through a new Resilient Checker configuration, enabling failover between two SMS providers. If the primary SMS service becomes unavailable or encounters an error, the system automatically falls back to the alternate mapped provider.

Why it matters

Fewer SMS messages fail during a single provider's outage, so end users receive their messages more reliably.

What you need to know

Failover is configured on the platform side. Existing workflows can be updated to use the new Resilient Checker to take advantage of automated failover routing.

Resilient Checker for Email Services

What's new

Added Resilient Checker support for One-Time Password (OTP) delivery via email. If the primary email service source fails or experiences an outage, the system automatically switches to the related mapped data source, based on the new IDW Resilient Checker configuration.

Why it matters

Users continue receiving OTP emails even if one email provider has issues, reducing login and verification failures.

What you need to know

There are no changes to any sources currently used by production customers. To use the new IDW Resilient Checker with an existing configuration, you'll need to swap your current email delivery source for the new Checker.

Admin UI 2.0 Updates

Generate Verification Link from a Workflow Step

What's new

Added a new "Generate Verification Link" menu action to each workflow step. This creates a link that starts the verification flow at the selected step.

Why it matters

Administrators can test a specific step, or send users directly into it, without restarting the flow from the beginning.

What you need to know

This action is available only after both the workflow and the service have been deployed at least once, and links always reflect the currently deployed version. Redirect URL options correspond to the workflow's configured redirect URLs, regardless of which step the link starts from.

Prefill Inputs from Previous Steps

What's new

For any step other than the primary step, input settings now include a "Prefill from previous steps" option. When enabled, the input is automatically populated with a value the user already provided in an earlier step.

Why it matters

Users no longer need to re-enter the same information, speeding up multi-step workflows and reducing drop-off.

What you need to know

There are no changes to any existing workflows. Explicit enabling this option automatically activates the required workflow property. Disabling the option for every input in a service removes that property.
