Expanded device & network risk signals for stronger passive checks

We’ve expanded our device and network risk checks with additional IP, proxy, browser, and session-level signals. This strengthens passive risk evaluation and helps you stay protected as fraud tactics evolve—without adding friction for legitimate users.

What’s new

The following checks are now included in device & network risk evaluation:

True IP location & infrastructure

  • True IP State or Region
  • True IP Postal Code
  • True IP Routing Type
  • True IP Hosting Facility

Browser & environment

  • Browser Language
  • Time Zone Code
  • Time Zone Name

Proxy & IP exposure

  • Proxy Score
  • Web RTC External IP

Session-level outcomes

  • Session Verdict
  • Session Processing Verdict
  • Session Risk Rating Verdict

Why it matters

These added signals improve coverage against common evasion patterns—like geo-masking, hosted infrastructure abuse, and proxy-based obfuscation—so your risk decisions stay resilient as attacker behavior changes.

What you can do now

If you’re already using device & network risk checks, you can now incorporate these signals into your policies and view them in reporting.
